Grow your own food at a local community garden
Gathering of Organic Growers (GOG)
GOG has plots on allotment sites around Bolton, Weshoughton, Deane, Halliwell, Great Lever and supports a variety of community and health projects. The communal sites are organised through democratic plot meetings. Any local people can get involved in growing their own food, and they then share out the produce. Others might come along to the plots for a couple of months and then use what they have learned to grow their own at home.
